Shared Tables
Together we can
build a better future
● THE NEED
What if every person had a table each week where they felt loved?
Every person deserves a place each week where they are known, welcomed, and fed—not out of charity but out of genuine relationship. “Having a table” means being a regular somewhere: a weekly dinner at a friend’s home, a standing lunch with colleagues, a community meal at a Breadcoin vendor. The table might seat four people or forty. The food might be elaborate or simple. What matters is that you have a place where your absence would be noticed.
● Your Role
Bring a shared table to your community
Every person has something to offer. Hosting doesn’t require a dining room or culinary skill—it requires the willingness to make space for someone who doesn’t yet have a table of their own. You might host by inviting a neighbor to your family dinner. You might host by organizing a weekly potluck. You might host by greeting newcomers at a Breadcoin community meal. You might host by simply sitting with someone who is eating alone.
