Families in underserved communities can struggle to afford birthday celebrations for their children. Imagine a child’s joy when they can share a restaurant meal with their family to celebrate.
● HOW IT WORKS
Providing birthday joy, one student at a time
By partnering with local schools, Breadcoin distributes $60 worth of tokens to each student on their birthday. The amount of tokens that students receive is enough to feed them and their families, typically around 4-5 individuals, a meal.
The Breadcoins can be redeemed at local food vendors, allowing students and their families to choose a birthday meal that most excites them. While Breadcoin does not plan or organize the celebration, we aim to offer a respectful, flexible way to provide the dignity of choice of a birthday meal for children who need it the most.
